Shay was prompt, friendly and efficient when we asked for a quote to restore our render on the front of our house. He was exactly the same when he came to do the job. We are absolutely ecstatic with the results of the rendering job by Shay and George - completely transformed our 70s brown brick backyard into a slick modern paradise.
Shay came and gave an honest, straightforward quote separated into the render and the painting stages. Excellent communication from there onwards. Did the prep and render for effectively 2/3 a single storey house in 4 days with lovely clean results, then came back and did the painting over 2 days. Real attention to detail and every day the worksite was tidied up before they left.

We recently had Shay transform our backyard garden beds, and the result is absolutely stunning! The attention to detail and professionalism were top-notch. I highly recommend Xcel Plastering. We had sections of texture coat that were mouldy, bubbling or falling off. Where some other companies wanted to just patch/paint over areas (one likened it to a woman putting on makeup and said it would just need doing every couple of years!), Shay made sure he stripped the areas back and prepped them to ensure the job was done properly and lasted. Shay is polite, professional and highly knowledgeable in his craft. He was happy for us to split our job into sections to work in with our budget and did his best to work around my garden. Our house has been transformed and we will definitely use him again!

Shay & his team from XCel Plastering were excellent to work with. They were punctual, efficient, careful, clean, polite and a very professional job on the render and painting of our 2 story house was completed as quoted at a very reasonable price. We then got them back to paint another area, and will be using them again shortly for more work. Highly recommend.
